I finally finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower!! And--- I love it. It is an absolutely great novel to read at nighttime. The plot isn't particularly wild but I like how it simply flowed but didn't getting boring. Check it out if you're bored!

Eggless Low Fat Mango Ice Cream
Eggless Low Fat Mango Ice Cream
Ingredients
Low Fat Milk - 400 ml + 50 ml
Unsweetened Skimmed Milk Powder - 40 gms ( I used Saagar Milk Powder)
Sugar - 40 gms (use more or les depending on the sweetness of the mango)
Cornflour - 1 tsp
Mango pulp - 400 ml
Method:
Mix together milk powder, sugar and cornflour with 50 ml milk to make a smooth paste without any lumps; this is takes a lot of patience so I whiz mine in the mixie.
Boil the remaining milk, then add the paste slowly stirring continuously and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 2 mins. Let it cool - I cool this in an ice water bath.
Once it cools, add the mango pulp and blend it in the mixie.
Freeze according to your ice cream maker's instructions. Tada....enjoy the delicious and creamy mango ice cream!!
(If you don't have an ice cream maker, then blend the ice cream 4-6 times everytime it reaches a semi -soft stage to break the crystals).

Mango Sago Dessert
Something my friend ran into and I had to share:
Ingredients
Mangoes - 2 (don't use alphonso you need mangoes that have a slightly tart taste; I used Baganpalli)
Sago - 3 tbsps
Low Fat Milk - 1/2 cup
Pomelo - 1 (you can replace this with any citrus fruit if you don't get pomelo)
Sugar - 2 tsps
Method:
Soak the sago in 1/2 cup of water for about 4-6 hrs at the end of which drain and set aside.
Boil 1.5 cups of water and add to the boiling water. Cook for about 10 mins by which time the sago will turn translucent. Turn off the heat, cover and leave for about 10 mins, then drain the sago and let cool.
Peel and chop the mangoes, grind it to a pulp with remaining cup of milk .
Finally, just assemble everything - the mango pulp, pomelo juice, sago and the pomelo bits - together in a jar, stir, add some ice cubes and serve!!

After about 15 mins, mix in 1/4 cup of milk over the sago, add the sugar and chill in the fridge.
Peel and chop the mangoes, grind it to a pulp with remaining cup of milk .
Peel and cut some pomelo into very small bite sized pieces - you will need no more than 2 tsps, and squeeze out the juice from the remainder- about 2 tbsps is enough.
Finally, just assemble everything - the mango pulp, pomelo juice, sago and the pomelo bits - together in a jar, stir, add some ice cubes and serve!!
This, alongwith my Eggless Low Fat Mango Ice Cream is rushing off to be part of Srivalli's Mango Mela.

[SONG] Implode by BoA
Ever since Korean/Japanese music became a big hit, BoA has become pretty popular too :) I remember the good ol' days where I'd listen to her song in the anime of inuyasha HAHA. Anyhow, I haven't been a good fan by following her throughout her career in the music industry and recently 're-discovered' her. I accidentally downloaded her entire album and whilst bored one afternoon I browsed through the songs and absolutely fell in love with this one!
Dear BoA,
Your pop songs are great, but your ballads are simply beautiful. *hehe

[BOOK] Looking for Alaska
"Just like that. From a hundred miles an hour to asleep in a nanosecond. I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not fuck, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.”
An exert. I'm planning to buy this but I can't seem to find the time to go to chapters and pick it up, thoughts? 8)
Also, I've realized that I enjoy reading books on the socially awkward/dorky guys. Their train of thought intrigues me. I'm currently reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

Nothing is Original
“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light, and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. Don’t bother concealing your thievery—celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: ‘It’s not where you take things from, it’s where you take them to.’”
